Hi, I’m Suzan and I’m the founder and CEO of HereAfter Thoughts. Both of my parents passed away in August 2013. I was very close to them, so it is still quite painful. I know you’re probably thinking what an odd way to tell about this business. But the pain of that loss and the desire to make an opportunity to bring peace and comfort in such a difficult time is actually how HereAfter Thoughts evolved.
How we evolved...
The idea of this business came to me one day as I was riding along the highway and something about birthdays came up on the radio. The thought hit me about how much I’d love to receive a birthday card just one more time from my parents. I often think of how I would love just one more moment with them, or just one more word of their knowledge and direction.
My “aha!” Moment...was when the thought of my children having to endure that pain crossed my mind. So the thought came to me...why not make a way in order for you to leave Comfort, Love and Peace behind for those you love.
Who we serve...
Many of us prepare for our death by writing Wills, obtaining life insurance, purchasing burial plots and planning final arrangements, among other ways of estate planning. We choose to do these things to help our loved ones once we are gone. Why not choose to include a way to bring them some Peace and Comfort.
What we offer...
Our service offers you the opportunity to write a letter to a loved one that will be delivered to them after you are gone. You can write a note of encouragement, a poem, a letter with whatever you want that may bring peace and comfort to a loved one. You can chose to hand write your letter or have it typed with your signature on it. We also offer you the opportunity to customize greeting cards to be sent out to your loved ones on the dates that you choose. There is also the option to make audio and/or video recordings that will be delivered to the recipients that you choose.
